My 55 gallon fish tank stand got a bit wet. Becuse i was made of partical board it puffed up. But the bottem of the looks ugly and the paint came off. also one of the hinges came off the door 2 wood planks in the center puffed up a bit to. can some one help me should i buy a new stand or should it be ok. Im moving so i need to know what to do

I wouldn't chance it! If you want to keep using the stand then I'd build an internal frame in it and not use the particle board for actual support and structural design.
But again, with something like this why chance it? Buy a stand here and they'll ship it anywhere in the US.... http://www.richinscarpentry.com/
