Not much to report from last meeting. We had a special meeting a week and a half ago, as everyone knows to elect the MACNA XVI bid. Boston Reefer's Society was awarded the bid. A mass email was done to all MASNA members to notify them of the outcome. The post was also done on the major board to the same effect.

3) Web Report (Nancy Swart)
Routine updates, Nemo articles/links added.

4) Vice President's Report (Given by Charles Scannell)
TFH has donated three high-end books for the raffle. The DFWMAS has also expressed an interest in supporting the scholarship fund. I've been in contact with Duane about it.
I had some concern about notification about shipping out items once a raffle is over and payment has been received. Nancy did a test run for me and I think that is settled. Thanks, Nancy! So far I've sent out the test kit and contacted Marc Weiss Co. to send Lee his three vol. set of Shimek's books.

Addendum by Nancy Swart: IceCap ballast also shipped Ts, caps and totes to be shipped end of this week.

5) Newsletter (Sandy Shoup)
I'm putting the finishing touches on the Summer 2003 newsletter. I expect to get it to the printers maybe Friday if I can swing it. Couple of days for printing then process for mailing.

6) MAC/USCRTF (John Brandt)
No reports this month, but if you look at Reefs.org, you will see real-time ongoing discussions about MAC, and very occasionally on the USCRTF. I have been posting conservation news articles there as well. Nancy I can get you these news links for posting on the MASNA site.

7) MACNA XV (Kelly Jedlecki)
Mitch Gibbs sent an email to the BOD asking if AMDA is getting a free room. He said that Steve Robinson had inquired and never heard a response. Discussion of this followed. Kelly was to contact Steve Robinson via email. Other discussion of MACNA followed.

Motion to adjourn by Nancy, seconded by Charles at 21:19. Carried.
