MASNA B.O.D. Meeting Minutes

Approval of Minutes:

The April and May, 2000 B.O.D. Minutes were accepted and approved.

President's Report:

Larry reported that he has 3/4 of the Archives logged. USCRTF has contacted us and requested that we attend their meeting in Soma on August 5 thru 7, 2000. Larry felt that this should be discussed at the June 14, 2000 B.O.D. Meeting.

Past President's Report:

Report lost in Cyberspace. Our apologies.

Secretary's Report:

Nothing to report.

Treasurer's Report:

Dave reported a bank balance of $6200.00 and that we had acquired two new members during the last month.

Editor's Report:

Joe reported that he was behind on the News Letter due to the lack of articles coming in. July 15, 2000 is the deadline for articles to appear in the July 25, 2000 issue of the News Letter providing Joe can get some articles in.

Webmaster's Report:

Nancy did the M12 $20.00 coupon and continues to update the M12 section of the website as information comes in.

Old Business:

Joe needs current updated membership list as his list was lost when he changed ISP's. Dave will send him the list.

New Business:

1) The USCRTF Meeting in Samoa was discussed and it was agreed that if we could get Delta Airlines to provide the round trip transportation then we should send a representative, otherwise it would be cost prohibited for us to send anyone.

2) Nancy suggested that she would like to put up banners on our website for the four B.O.D. members who have a commercial interests in the hobby. The banners would be MASNA's thank you for them volunteering their time for this organization. B.O.D. Approved

MACNA XII:

Joe needs flyers and pamphlets to take with him to the Western Marine Conference being held in
Sacramento, CA Dave will send flyers June 15, 2000.

MACNA XIII:

Registration: Cindy Jones has volunteered to handle the registration of attending participants.
Audio/Video:
Dennis agreed to handle the arrangements for Audio/Video at the conference.
Hotel & Speakers: Larry will handle the Hotel & Speaker arrangements.
Vendors & Exhibitors: Dave will co-ordinate this area.
Website: Nancy dotcom is our in house expert here.
