Routine Updates. Posted Notices of Annual Website Awards and Annual Meeting & Elections encouraging folks to run for office. Auction Site - Shut down - all remaining inventories transferred to MASNA Online Store.

4) Membership (Lee Morey)
Membership numbers are as follows:
Clubs - 22, unchanged since the last meeting
Corporate - 11, one new one
Individual - 87, 5 new members since last month
One club has renewed, Toronto
Nancy has also renewed
With Nancy's help sent out annual meeting notice email to membership. JT helped by placing public meeting notice for this meeting at BBS.

5) MAC/USCRTF (John Brandt)
I have no MAC news, other than that Fiji collecting areas and exporters will be Certified fairly soon. No USCRTF news, but I will be planning my trip to the meeting fairly soon. There is some CITES info on upcoming pending seahorse size regulations that are now posted on reefs.org.
The USCRTF meeting this Fall is in Guam/Saipan. They will probably have one in February 2004 as well, in Washington DC.

6) MACNA XV (Kelly Jedlecki)
We are well over 300 for the banquet, 28 booths, 4 speaker booths in separate room. I have been busy "negotiating" with AMDA & MAC, it seems that they are always asking for more. We ran into another "snag" as we are listed now with 2 tax ID #'s, hopefully credit card machine will be running within 24 hours. I guess I should say "dictating" instead of negotiating, as there are NO negotiations at this late of date for people who have done NO PROMOTION of MACNA to this point and at the last hour want more.
(Nancy Swart: Kelly, please remind Morris John Link is waiting for another final mass email promo.)

Motion to adjourn by Chuck, seconded by Nancy. Carried.
