Abilene Marine Aquarium Society (ABIMAS) -- VISIT |
|
Our biggest goal here is to bring the local reefing community together. It will make this hobby more enjoyable as we share with each other. It will also be a great way to get the emergency help we might need when things go wrong. Additionally, our goal is to educate people of the proper care and maintenance of miniature reef systems from small to large. This would include raising our fish, breeding our fish, raising our corals, and propagation of corals. It is a known fact that our reefs are getting smaller because of the collecting of corals and fish for the use of selling in our local stores and if we could learn to keep them healthy through proper care we could help to save the reef.
